My name is Mike Hasemann. I have been investing in real estate for over 10 years now. A majority of my transactions have been in single family homes that are within 30 minutes of my home. I live in a small town here in Illinois that is situated about 60 miles north of champaign (University of Illinois) and 45 miles south of Chicago. I now own a total of 63 homes.

I also buy and sell rural land and am part of a group whose founder has done over 15,000 transactions and counting. As an investor, one of my favorite things is finding hidden value and providing the service to unlock that value. And, to me, thats the very essence of investing in land. Finding someone that really isn’t interested in their land and who wants to sell fast and would prefer it if the buyer did everything to get the transaction thru to closing.

Outside of managing my rentals and investing in real estate – be it land or homes – I also enjoy Chicago sports (Cubs, White Sox, Bears and Bulls). And I play in a couple of fantasy baseball and football leagues as well. Add in a daughter that we adopted from the Ukraine back in 2011 and a couple of dogs (George Bailey and Harry Bailey) and that keeps me more than busy and entertained.
